Real estate is one of the most stable asset classes for investors, however, it has historically been difficult for investors to overcome the barriers to entry like needing a significant amount of capital available to invest or not wanting to be involved in the management of the property. Real estate syndication provides investors with passive access to large income-producing properties, like apartment buildings, by pooling the equity of many investors to acquire the asset. Although such investments lack the liquidity of stocks, we find that investors with a long-term view, who are looking for reliable, regular cash flow (like dividends) discover that investing in real estate provides a welcome alternative to the minute-by-minute gyrations of the stock market.
